But don’t give up just yet. Here’s the good news: if you time it right, TBEX can be super affordable. I got my ticket to TBEX Quebec City for just $227, and TBEX Asia for only $177!
I loved my experience at TBEX, and I want to help you make it happen too. Let me show you exactly how to grab your TBEX tickets for cheap and where you can find the best deals.

Types of TBEX Tickets (and What They Include)
When you’re ready to buy your TBEX ticket, you’ll notice three options: Content Creator, Industry Professional, and Virtual Access. Each comes with different perks depending on how you plan to experience the conference.
| Type of Ticket | Who It’s Best For | What It Includes |
| Content Creator Ticket | For bloggers, podcasters, YouTubers, influencers, media | All access: tours & nightly parties + speed networking + session recording |
| Virtual Ticket | Creators on a tight budget or those who can’t attend the conference in person | Lifetime access to session recording |
| Industry Professionals Ticket | For DMOs, travel brands, PR firms and marketing professionals | All access + tours & nightly parties + session recording (no speed networking) |
Content Creator Ticket
If you’re a blogger or social media influencer, this is your ticket. A content creator ticket will give you access to everything: over 30 breakout sessions and keynotes led by the industry’s experts, pre-TBEX tours, Sponsor Showcase, and more!
You’ll also receive access to session recordings after the event, which is super helpful when two interesting talks happen at the same time. Trust me, it’ll happen more than once.
Virtual Ticket
If you’re a creator on a tight budget, then the TBEX virtual ticket is your best bet.
You’ll get access to all the session recordings 6-8 weeks after the event. So even if you can’t be there in person, you won’t miss out on the learning!
It’s a great alternative if you’re looking to save money or simply can’t travel, but still want to learn from industry experts.
Industry Professional Ticket

This ticket is for people on the brand side of the travel industry. Those representing tourism boards, brands, PR agencies, or travel companies. It includes the same access as a creator ticket, minus the speed networking time.
If you’re a brand that wants to have a table at the Sponsor Showcase or take part in speed networking, you’ll need to complete a sponsorship inquiry. At TBEX Quebec City, I noticed some tourism boards did not have a table, which made it harder for creators to find and connect with them.
How to Get the Cheapest TBEX Tickets
Do you know TBEX uses tiered pricing? The later you buy your ticket, the more expensive it is. Creator tickets can go up to $600-700!
But hold on; don’t let me scare you away just yet!
Even as a new blogger or content creator, ticket prices can still be affordable. The tickets are always cheapest when they’re first released.
TBEX North America 2026 starts at $227! For TBEX Asia 2026 in Almaty, it actually starts at $177!
If you check the ticket prices after, you’ll find the prices increasing every few months until they reach $600-700.
Want to see what TBEX is actually like before buying? Here’s my honest recap of what to expect at your first TBEX conference.
When Do TBEX Tickets Get Released?
Just keep an eye out for the next TBEX conference dates. That’s when they usually announce the next destination and tickets go on sale with early bird special pricing. This is when you’ll get TBEX tickets at their lowest.
During TBEX Quebec City, they actually announced two locations! Richmond, USA for TBEX North America 2026 at the opening session and Almaty, Kazakhstan for TBEX Asia 2026 at the closing session.

TBEX Discount and Promo Codes
If you’re considering attending TBEX but missed the early bird pricing, there’s still hope! Let me share with you all the places I’ve found discounts and promo codes for TBEX!
TBEX Newsletters
Start by signing up for the official TBEX newsletter.
Throughout the year, I’ve seen special sales during holidays such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. One of the best deals I’ve seen was the buy one, get 50% off another conference promo. That means if you’re planning to attend more than one TBEX, you can cut your second ticket cost in half.

For example, during July 4th, they offered this deal for TBEX North America in Richmond when tickets were still $227. TBEX Europe and the TBEX Summit America were both hovering around $600. So with the 50% discount, it’ll be just $300! That’s as close as you can get to early bird pricing, honestly.
Facebook Groups
Join groups like TBEX or This Week in Blogging, co-founded by Chris Mitchell, who is also a TBEX North America Director. These groups often share discount codes, insider updates, and opportunities you won’t see posted publicly.
Reach Out Directly
If you’re serious about attending TBEX but money’s tight, it’s worth reaching out to the team directly. Shoot them an email explaining your situation as a new creator. While it’s not guaranteed, there’s a chance they can provide a discount to help.
I’ve seen people reach out after missing the early bird special by just a day. The TBEX team was super nice and honored the lower price.
How to Win Free TBEX Tickets
Want to go to TBEX without paying for a ticket? It is possible. Some sponsors run raffles before the event and give away free passes to a few lucky winners.
For example, TravelPayouts has done giveaways in the past for both TBEX Summit America in Anchorage, Alaska and TBEX North America in Puerto Rico. Each time, they gave out tickets to two winners!

So, if you see a TBEX ticket giveaway, jump on it! I wish you the best of luck!
Apply to Be a Speaker at TBEX
If you’ve got some gold nuggets of knowledge to share, think about applying to speak at TBEX. It’s a great way to build your credibility, grow your network, and get a free TBEX ticket.
Whether you’re great at driving Pinterest traffic, SEO, creating UGC, or landing brand deals, TBEX is always looking for creators with real, helpful insights to share.
And don’t worry about having a huge following. From what I saw at TBEX Quebec City, what matters most is that you have something useful to teach and a story that others can learn from.
TBEX Ticket FAQ
Can you volunteer at TBEX for a free ticket?
Sadly, no. TBEX rarely takes volunteers the way other conferences do. The host destination typically handles staffing, so it doesn’t offer volunteer passes for TBEX attendees.
But if you’re really keen to attend and money is tight, don’t be afraid to reach out to the TBEX team. You never know what options might be available.
Are TBEX tickets refundable?
Unfortunately, once you buy a ticket, it’s nonrefundable. I know that can make it a little risky investment, especially if the conference date is far in the future.
Are TBEX tickets transferable?
Yes, kind of. While you can’t transfer your ticket to another person, you can move it to a different TBEX event within the next year. So if something comes up and you can’t attend the one you booked, you won’t lose the investment entirely.
Just shoot an email to the TBEX team and let them know which upcoming event you want to switch to.
How to Get the Best Deal on TBEX Tickets: Final Tips
TBEX can totally be affordable if you know when to buy, where to look for promos, and what extra costs to plan for. My biggest tip? Grab your ticket as soon as sales open. Early bird prices are usually around $200, and you can sometimes find bundle deals or last-minute discounts if you keep an eye out.
If you’re still on the fence about whether TBEX is right for you, you’re not alone. I’ve been there too. That’s why I put together a full guide on what to expect at your first TBEX so you can feel more confident before you commit.
At the end of the day, the real value isn’t just in the ticket. It’s in the people you will meet, the ideas you’ll leave with, and the doors it can open if you’re ready to show up. I hope this guide helps you feel confident about getting your ticket. YOU deserve to be in that room.
